The area along the main river of Bangkok used to be the ancient royal district, and this is where many of Bangkok's famous unique attractions are located. Jump off at ferry pier Tha Chang, and you are ready to start your walking tour to see some of the most famous landmarks of Bangkok. You can easily walk between the temples and sites in this area; it's impressive. It is best to begin early as most of these sites close around 3:30 pm, and there is plenty to see!
