Relax & Adjust
There are so many character dining experiences at one of Disney's resort restaurants; why not take this opportunity to explore at least one of them and make this a terrific start to your Disney Holiday. Head to Storybook Dining at Artist Point for dinner to kick off your holiday with classic characters. Take a spin on the monorail, do some resort hopping and then head back to your music resort to get ready for your first day in the parks.
Enjoy a pleasant stay at this music-themed hotel, celebrating jazz, country, rock'n'roll and Broadway show tunes. This vibrant hotel celebrates everything with musical vibes. You'll feel the vibe and tune with the place throughout your stay, with touches like the giant musical instruments in the decors, musical themed dining at the Intermission Food Court, and even a pool shaped like a grand piano. Close to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, the Resort is an excellent value and Disney Magic combination. All-Star Music 3-star resort has two pools. The largest, Calypso Pool, sits directly behind the Melody Hall lobby and food court, between the two buildings dedicated to the genre of the same name.
At 260 square feet, standard rooms at the All-Star Resorts are tiny—the same size as those at Pop Century Resort and slightly smaller than Art of Animation's shared spaces. The refurbished rooms have two queen-sized beds and one of which folds Murphy-style into the wall. The older rooms have two double beds, or one king bedroom have a mini-fridge, coffee maker, a separate vanity area, table and chairs. The 192 suites measure roughly 520 square feet in the Jazz and Calypso Buildings, slightly larger than the cabins at Fort Wilderness but marginally smaller than Art of Animation's Family Suites. Each suite, formed from two formerly separate rooms, includes a kitchenette with a mini-refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker. Sleeping accommodations include a queen bed in the bedroom, a pullout sleeper sofa, a chair bed, and an ottoman bed.
